Dr. Susan G. Klappa , a professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City IA, completed her PhD in Education, Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Minnesota with a focus on community engagement. Sue earned her MPT degree from St. Catherine University and holds a Master’s degree in physical education. Dr. Klappa has a special interest in disaster relief work, global and local public health. Dr. Klappa’s research interests explore how interprofessional collaboration, disaster relief work, and international community engagement influence the formation of professional identity among physical therapists.

Silverio Di Rocca has completed Graduate degree in Dentistry, Post-graduate degree in Functional Orthopaedics both from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has also done a degree in Dentistry and Prostethic at the University of Turin, Italy and a Doctorate in Dentistry and Prosthetic at University of Turin, Italy. He is the Director of the M.P.R International School, Vice President International representative and Founder of API Swiss (International Association of Posturology Switzerland). He is also a Professor in Amocoac Diplomate in Mexico and COMEI, College of Dentistry in Mexico, Associated Professor in the Fisioterapist School in Tenerife Spain, Associated Professor in I.C.O.M (International College of Osteophatic Medicine) Milan, Italy and an International Honorary member of AMOCOAC (Mexicanian Association of Cranio Facial Orthopeadic).

Simon Allen has obtained his PhD in Medicine in 1978. For over 14 years, he has worked at and subsequently headed a hospital’s Cardio-Vascular department, and treated patients with renal diseases. He had authored many scientific articles on metabolic disorders, including those linked to obesity, kidneys, arthritis, cardio-vascular and gastroenterological diseases. He has lectured Medical Doctors pursuing higher medical qualifications. He then devoted nearly two decades to further medical research into various chronic internal diseases. He has established Fine Treatment, UK, is the Author of The Origin of Diseases Theory and the inventor of effective physiotherapeutic devices which enable the Thermo balancing therapy.

Tomasz Karski studied at Medical University in Lublin and received medical doctor certificate in 1961. During the studies he was active for three years in Students Scientific Orthopaedic Association and later after graduation he was the Assistant Teacher for young student generation. In 1967 and next in 1971 he passed specializations degrees - first and second degree in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology of movement apparatus. In 1972 he received the doctor degree and in 1982 after habilitation (colloquium before Medical University Council) he passed consecutive degrees to receive phd degree and later became Assistant Professor. In 1993 he was awarded by full professor degree and title by President of Poland. Since 1st October 1995 to 2009 he was the Head of Chair and Department of Paediatric Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation of Medical University in Lublin/Poland, in the biggest Paediatric Hospital in Eastern Poland Region

Dariusz Jacek Jakóbczak was born in Koszalin, Poland, on December 30, 1965. He graduated in mathematics (numerical methods and programming) from the University of Gdansk, Poland in 1990. He received the Ph.D. degree in 2007 in computer science from the Polish – Japanese Institute of Information Technology, Warsaw, Poland. From 1991 to 1994 he was a civilian programmer in the High Military School in Koszalin. He was a teacher of mathematics and computer science in the Private Economic School in Koszalin from 1995 to 1999. Since March 1998 he has worked in the Department of Electronics and Computer Science, Koszalin University of Technology, Poland and since October 2007 he has been an Assistant Professor in the Chair of Computer Science and Management in this department. His research interests connect mathematics with computer science and include computer vision, artificial intelligence, shape representation, curve interpolation, contour reconstruction and geometric modeling, numerical methods, probabilistic methods, game theory, operational research and discrete mathematics.

Mrs. Ross believes in the Integrative Holistic Nutrition and Functional Medicine. She focuses on the elements of life including nature, soul, palate appealing, environment, physical activity or inactivity, DNA, ancestry, weight loss, and simple human imperfection that can contribute to high risk of chronic diseases.

Kirill Alekseyev has completed his MBA from St. Joseph’s College after completing his undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University in Long Island, NY as a Division I student athlete. He then went on to pursue his MD at American University of Antigua. He is currently a 2nd year resident Physician at Kingsbrook Rehabilitation Institute in Brooklyn, NY. He is the Vice President of the resident’s committee at NY Society of PM&R (largest PM&R Society in US) with an option to be President next year. He is also a Special Olympics Coordinator for the past 3 years. He has published chapters, articles in various journals, books and databases. He has over 20 poster and oral presentations at various national conferences. He is a recipient of NY Society of PM&R recognition award in 2014 and this year’s recipient of Professionalism award from his current Residency Program at Kingsbrook Rehabilitation Institute, Brooklyn, NY. He was a runner up for Vice Chair position for residents at Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP) second largest PM&R national organization.
