Spine and Spinal Disorders
Spinal cord consists of 31 pairs of spinal nerves that transmit the signal to and fro between body and spinal cord. Any damage to the spine causes the loss of sensory or motor function. A healthy spine, when viewed from the side, has gentle curves to it. The curves empower the spine to hold stress from body movement and gravity.
